Our Commitment to You
As we reopen our dining rooms, the health, safety and well-being of our employees and our guests are always a top priority. As you know, and as our Sanitation Grades have always indicated, we are deeply committed to delivering on that promise.
To ensure the actions we are taking are comprehensive and appropriate to maintain a sanitary environment, we are closely monitoring updates and developments from national, state, and local health authorities. We have implemented additional preventative measures to maintain a clean and safe environment for our guests and our incredible team of workers.
- We are conducting pre-shift health screenings, and strictly enforcing our policy of requiring team members, to stay home if they show or report any signs of illness;
- Practicing social distancing, wearing masks, and encouraging our team and guests to avoid unnecessary physical contact;
- Reinforcing stringent hand-washing procedures requiring employees to wash their hands between tasks, or a minimum of every 20 minutes;
- Sanitizing the surfaces of all key guest touch-points between customers and a minimum of every 30 minutes;
- Diligently following current cleaning procedures using approved and effective sanitizing products;
- Making sure all soap dispensers are stocked and operating properly, as well as adding additional sanitizing stations throughout the restaurant;
- Ensuring guests are the only individuals to touch items by removing all condiments from table and utilizing single service packets, single use and QR Code menus, and guest checks delivered without books;
- Drink refills will be provided in a new cup rather than pouring from a pitcher;
- Removing tables to provide additional space for guests;
- Temporarily accepting reservations, offering curbside and dockside delivery service;
- Ascertaining our vendors and suppliers are engaging in prudent preventative measures; and asking customers to order curbside takeout if they are symptomatic;
- We are in constant communication with our employees to provide them with updated information and other guidelines as the situation evolves.
We continue to offer on-line ordering and curbside delivery for our loyal customers who are feeling under the weather and staying home.
Bottom line, we are acutely vigilant about this serious situation, and will continue to do everything we can to protect our employees and our customers. We appreciate the trust and support of our loyal guests and we look forward to continuing to serve you.
